Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Filterbloom (“the App”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App. The App is provided by Streamfog inc. (“we”, “us”, “our”).

2. Description of Service

Filterbloom is a desktop application that lets you apply augmented reality (AR) filters to video files. You import a video, preview filters in real time, and export the filtered result as an MP4 file. Video processing happens on your device; filter rendering uses Snap’s Camera Kit SDK.

3. User Accounts

You may optionally sign in with a Google account to save preferences such as favorite filters. You can also use the App without signing in. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Use the App to process content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others
  • Circumvent any technical limitations or license restrictions
  • Redistribute, sublicense, or resell the App or its components
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App’s services or servers

5. Your Content

You retain full ownership of the videos you import and export using the App. We do not claim any rights to your content. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the rights to use any video you process.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, its code, design, and branding are owned by Streamfog inc. AR lens effects available within the App are the property of Snap Inc. and are provided through the Snap Camera Kit SDK. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

The App uses third-party services including Snap Camera Kit and Google Firebase. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms:

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Streamfog inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising out of or related to your use of the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App (if any).

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Sections regarding intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability survive termination.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Streamfog inc. is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law principles.
